I hope you had a fantastic thanksgiving/friendsgiving/day of rest! I hope you all had a wonderful time eating amazing food and being with the ones you love.
Normally for my Thanksgiving, my family will either stay in Ames or venture to the Windy City of Chicago to visit family. But this year was a little different. Instead, my family went over to my grandparent's, on my Dad's side, house (that they just finished building this September) for lunch and then went to my Aunt's house (on my Mom's side) for dinner. Let's just say there was a lot of food and a lot of over eating.
My Thursday was filled with lots of eating, watching Iowa State Basketball, and a little bit of shopping. Yes, I am one of those people has gone out shopping on Thanksgiving. But in my defense, we were just sitting around anyways, so why not go grab a couple of sweet deals from Target.
My all time fave food for thanksgiving is Pumpkin Pie. My cousin Jaclyn and I were a little bit more excited to get eating, especially with my mom's homemade whipped cream. YUM.
So now I want to know what your Thanksgiving was like!
