Hi Everyone! Happy Friday!
Did somebody say tea?! What! Where? Can I have some?
Lately, I have discovered an unwavering love for tea. I don't know how or why it came about, but tea is just amazing. My favorite brand is Celestial. They make my favorite sleepy time tea. Yes, that is actually the name of the tea. It puts you in the perfect mood for bed time or when you want to wind down.
My second favorite is a de-bloating tea. I know that sounds super weird, but I like it for it's taste, the de-bloating is just an extra plus. It's cranberry flavored, and one of the few actual fruit teas that I like. I'm definitely more attracted to herbal teas like chamomile and chai.
Speaking of chai, another one of my favorites is Tazo's pumpkin spice chai tea. This is the perfect tea to use, if you want to make a homemade chai tea latte. That's the only way I used to drink my tea, but as you can tell I've broadened my horizons a little bit. It makes the perfect fall tea, I mean pumpkin spice and chai... what more could you ask for?
Last time, I was at the grocery store I stumbled across a very interesting tea flavor in my opinion. Watermelon and Lime Zinger, by Celestial. It is amazing! And as a bonus, I think that it would make a great iced tea during the summer. It's definitely more of a tangy tea, but I've always been a fan of sour/tangy flavors.
It's interesting because in my menu planning class, I have created the concept for a Modern Tea Room in Seattle, Washington. I think that may have been where the obsession started. I mean, I have been studying different tea rooms and my own tea room for about two months now, so I guess it was bound to happen. It's super fun to look up all the different teas I'm planning on selling at my imaginary tea room. I honestly, probably get way more excited than I should.
Do you love tea as much as I do? Let me know in the comments below and tell me what your favorite kind is! I'd love to have some more suggestions!
