I feel like you guys are going to get really annoyed with how much I talk about work...
So, I clumped these days together because they were pretty chill and not to much happened.
Guys, I don't joke when I say all I do is work basically. It fills up most of my week and honestly some of my weekend. But that's life and I know that this job is just a building block to being able to fully work for myself.
Both Tuesday and Wednesday I worked all day.
Tuesday I spent most of the day at my desk. Which kills me some days. I'm a pretty active person, so sitting at my desk for long periods of time is super hard for me. But Wednesday, I got to help make home selections with my Grandma. My grandparents are building a new house, and I got assigned to help her make selections, communicate with vendors, and communicate with the lead builder. It's been a lot of fun so far, and it fills my creativity tank a little bit! (:
Tuesday night my sister and I decided to go see the new Disney movie, Moana. I didn't know to much about it before seeing it, other than, that Lin-Manual Miranda helped write the music. I'm a bit of a fan of his... But the storyline line was amazing and I shed some tears... Call me sappy but it's true. I honestly downloaded the entire soundtrack as soon as we got out of the movie. (Wanna check out the awesome soundtrack too? Click here!)
Also can we jsut for a second about the fact that Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson can sing?! Who knew?
Wednesday night I met with one of my Pastor's wife. I babysit their girls all the time, so we've grown to be pretty good friends. It was nice getting to catch up with her and just share some different things that I have been learning and struggling with throughout this past semester. She's really good at giving advice and input with a non-biased opinion. (:
And that my friends is all I have done the past two days. Pretty lame, but you will get a ton of exciting posts next week when I'm on... VACATION! I'm beyond excited to get away for a week. Which means basically daily Wanderlust posts, and who doesn't love that?
My name's Abby. I am a Iowa Culinary Institute graduate, current owner of a small online bakery, and a transaction coordinator to a couple pretty cool realtors. All in all, life is busy, but the kitchen never changes, so join me as we Take on the Kitchen!
