Guys, it is December now. And that means Christmas is in full-blast. Decorating Christmas trees, baking cookies, and ice skating are just a few of my favorite things! (See what I did there?)
I wanted to try and blog everyday (okay probably won't be everyday, but most days) this December. Just with little Christmas tidbits that I did that day or tips and tricks to bake the best cookies. I want it to be similar to Vlogmas. Youtube it. You'll understand better what I mean.
So to start off the month I'll talk about decorating my Christmas Tree. Technically still in November but I was up baking cookies until midnight... so I think it counts! My family always decorates the tree together. My parents have gotten us each an ornament every Christmas to represent the biggest part of that year for us. So after 19 years of mine plus my three other siblings ornaments our tree gets pretty full.
We turn on 104.1 (our local station that starts playing Christmas music in early Novemeber), make some hot chocolate/pour eggnog, and tell stories about our favorite ornaments and reminisce on Christmas pasts. It takes us about 30 minutes to decorate our tree. All in all it's a grand ole time.
And to finish out the decorating this year, we listened to some Christmas songs... sung in German.... Uhm yes, that is what we did. Two years ago we were in Europe for Christmas and one of our favorite parts was going to a Christmas Market in Erfurt, Germany. There was a lady singing Jingle Bells in German and we just got into it. Dancing and Singing, everyone was looking at us like we were crazy, but we didn't care. We were having a blast.
So that is what I did on my December 1st! What did you do? Also White Rabbit, for those of you who know what that is (;
