Make ahead Breakfast Recipes are a must during the school year! SO, I put together two of my favorite breakfast recipes that can be made ahead to make breakfast quick and easy!
I am definitely no where near a morning person. I'm also not much of a breakfast person. After that you might be wondering, "Why the heck is she writing about Breakfast then?" Understandably. But, I, myself, needed to find recipes so that I could have a quick and easy breakfast.
The first recipe I want to share with you are these make ahead breakfast burritos! I first ran across this idea while looking for breakfast recipes for a camping trip with some of my best friends. It seemed like the perfect idea for the trip and now I'm bringing it back for Back to School!
The ingredient list for the burritos are tortillas, eggs, sausage, red and green pepper, and cheese. It's really that simple. Cook everything up, put it into the tortilla, fold it up, wrap it in plastic wrap and freeze. Simple and Delicious, what more could you ask for? You can get the full recipe here!
The next recipe is for make ahead smoothie bags. The idea behind them is that you cut and store all the fruit in individual bags in the freezer to make for an easier/quicker to blending process. My recipe is a spin-off of one of my all time favorite smoothies, The Caribbean C-Burst. Tropical Smoothie Cafe has become increasingly popular in Iowa and I'm ready to start making my own version. The smoothie contains goji berries, mango, banana, and carrots, and orange juice. This smoothie is absolutely delicious, super easy to make, and even pretty healthy! You get the full recipe here!
