Sometimes just going into the kitchen to make something as simple as Ramen can be quite the challenge.
I know sometimes for me just having the motivation to go into the kitchen and cook something for lunch can be quite the challenge. This happens mostly because sometimes I'm lazy, just like the average human. So to combat this, I wanted to give you guys a few tips to get motivated to get up and cook/bake something whether you're hungry or just looking for a fun activity to do with your kids or friends.
Not like literal jam. Though, I mean if you want... You do you! Haha! I know having some good music playing automatically puts me in a better mood and motivates me to do just about anything. I linked my favorite Spotify playlist to listen to, while I'm in the kitchen! (It's basically just a bunch of random songs that pertain food, some are kids songs and some are rock songs. You will have much variety!) Also feel free to let loose and bust a few dance moves. I find that not only can this help de-stress me (if I'm having that kind of day) but it's also some pretty decent exercise.
2. Make it a learning experience
I know that sometimes if I'm looking to practice or learn a new skill, that it can essentially make it more fun. Maybe that's just me, sometimes I get a little intense... I like to push myself to get good at a certain skill, so I'll do it over and over and over. I can thank school for that!
3. Get Excited
Having a good attitude is key to getting just about anything done. Even if you don't really want to cook something, changing your attitude to being excited about how good that dish is going to taste, can be a HUGE game changer!
4. Take a breath
If you find yourself getting stressed out or super frustrated, then don't feel bad about taking a breath. Relaxing and stepping away from something that is creating stress in your life, is something that is always okay. I mean unless it's imperative that you take a couple minutes to finish a piece of task or something, just take a step back, take a deep breath, and de-stress.
5. BONUS Tip Smash something
Okay don't smash anything that is important to you, but I mean pounding chicken or crushing graham crackers is a lot of fun and knowing that you get to do something like that in a recipe makes me a lot more excited to do it!
Well we have come to the end of my tips! I hope you enjoyed hearing some of my thoughts about stuff! If you specifically want to learn more about a certain subject, leave a comment telling me what you want to learn about next!
