I am definitely the kind of person who enjoys making a list of resolutions for the New Year. I usually create way to many that I don't end up sticking to, but I like to have something to look at, at the end of the year to compare to how I spent that year. Today I'm gonna share with you just a few of my resolutions!
1. Write on my blog at least once a month
I've made a resolution about my blog every year since I've started. Last year it was to be more consistent. Well, I didn't realize what my full-time job would look like and I ended going on hiatus for 3 months. Probably not the prim example of consistency. This year I've given myself, a bit more of an attainable goal. To write on my blog at least once a month. And hopefully it will be more. But for now, the goal is once a month. Something exciting and new every month for you guys to look forward to!
2. Bring my lunch to work at least 3 days a week
Since going vegan it's made it harder to find lunch solutions at most restaurants (let's just say I've eaten so much Chipotle), so one of my goals for 2018 is to bring my lunch more often. Reasons for doing this 1) It's better for me (less sodium, less soy, and more locally sourced ingredients)
2) Saving money!! 3) Forces me to get into a routine of grocery shopping and meal prep
3. Go on my first solo trip
I recently joined a group on facebook full of women who love to travel. Some of them travel full time, some of them find time for adventure even with full time jobs. It's been so inspiring to read about all of these stories from all over the world. So I've set out to travel alone for the first time. I'm hoping to make it out to Seattle this summer. But who knows? If you have suggestions on awesome places in the states to have your first solo trip, put them in the comments!
4. Read 10 Books
Since getting my full-time job, I haven't been able to make time to sit down and read. So this year, I set a goal for myself to read 10 book. Which is about one a month. I'm going to be reading everything from Fiction, to Biographies and everything in between. Let me know if that's something you guys would want to see on my Instagram stories?
5. Try a New Recipe every week
Especially since going Vegan, there are lots of new and interesting ingredients that I have been meaning to get to know better. So in an effort to do that I want to try new recipes on a weekly basis. Especially since my sister made me a collection of vegan recipes for me to try. Interested in going Vegan? Hit me up in the Contact Bar!
